The modernist heart of Polish design.

The Institute of Industrial Design’s headquarters at ul. Świętojerska 5/7 is one of the finest examples of 1950s modernist architecture.

Designed as a centre for science, art, and industry – today it’s once again becoming a meeting place for creators, experts, and entrepreneurs.

It’s a space where the history of Polish design connects with its present.

It houses:

  • Wanda Telakowska Hall – a prestigious exhibition space
  • Designers’ Hall – ideal for workshops and presentations
  • Reading Room – an intimate space for work and inspiration

These spaces are available to hire for various events, conferences, exhibitions, and meetings.

Each retains the ambiance of a place where Polish design thinking has been developing for decades.

This is where Polish design has its source – and its future.
